Course overview:

The demand for technical skills and expertise in the field of electrical MV/LV reticulation is increasing. It is the responsibility of companies, industries and municipalities to improve and educate their workforce in order to flow with the technological trend in MV/LV reticulation.

Nowadays, several methods of MV/LV reticulation have been developed, for instance philosophies like SWER-phase, phase-to-phase systems, single-phase and dual phase systems have evolved as the most cost effective systems. However, methods of MV/LV electrical reticulation are not always the same in different environment, therefore in-depth knowledge of reticulation methods is required by a designer in order to design system that will provide maximum return on investment, considering capital cost as well as operations and maintenance costs.

The course will equip engineers, technicians, planners etc. with essential knowledge and state-of-the-art MV/LV reticulation planning, design and design tools, Installations and maintenance. It will also help participants:

    • To perform fault level calculations and to select appropriate size of MV/LV reticulation equipment such as transformers, Breakers, fuses, cables e.t.c
    • To comprehend the design and application of protection schemes to any component of MV and LV Reticulation system such as overhead power lines, underground cables, power transformers and substation busbars.
    • To be able apply effective and non-effective earthing to any medium voltage and Low Voltage Reticulation Networks, etc.
    • To understand and apply appropriate techniques in design and installation of power reticulation within building

IN HOUSE AND ONLINE TRAINING

in

While both In-House and Online training can present with cost-effectiveness and time-efficacy, there are some very specific differences between in-house courses and those based online.
The demand for additional courses by individuals or groups of people is increasing. Still, it depends entirely on the preferences of a person what type of training he or she wants to receive. Online courses and in-house training carry some similarities but they are considered to exhibit some very pivotal differences too. Despite that, both types of learning can be really beneficial for attendees.
