Course overview
Water and wastewater treatment is a cornerstone of public health, environmental protection, and sustainable development. With growing urbanization, industrialization, and climate variability, the demand for clean water and effective wastewater management is higher than ever. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the operational, technical, and regulatory aspects of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Participants will explore the principles behind physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes used in modern treatment plants. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in plant operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance monitoring. It is especially tailored for treatment plant operators, environmental officers, engineers, technicians, and anyone involved in the provision, maintenance, and regulation of water services.
The training emphasizes real-world application, safety protocols, environmental standards, and the use of emerging technologies. Participants will also gain the skills needed to interpret laboratory results, manage process upsets, and optimize plant performance, ensuring compliance with public health and environmental regulations.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the principles and science behind water and wastewater treatment.
• Operate and monitor treatment systems effectively.
• Troubleshoot common problems in treatment processes.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health standards.
• Apply safety protocols and maintenance practices in treatment operations.

IN HOUSE AND ONLINE TRAINING

While both In-House and Online training can present with cost-effectiveness and time-efficacy, there are some very specific differences between in-house courses and those based online.
The demand for additional courses by individuals or groups of people is increasing. Still, it depends entirely on the preferences of a person what type of training he or she wants to receive. Online courses and in-house training carry some similarities but they are considered to exhibit some very pivotal differences too. Despite that, both types of learning can be really beneficial for attendees.
