Water infrastructure is fundamental to the health, security, economic development, and environmental sustainability of any society. It encompasses a wide range of physical assets and systems including water supply networks, treatment facilities, pumping stations, storage tanks, stormwater management structures, and wastewater treatment systems. However, much of the global water infrastructure is aging, facing increasing pressure from population growth, rapid urbanization, environmental degradation, climate change, and limited financial resources.

This course has been designed to address these emerging challenges by equipping professionals with the technical knowledge, strategic approaches, and modern tools required to manage and maintain water infrastructure systems effectively. Participants will be introduced to comprehensive asset management practices that promote operational efficiency, reduce lifecycle costs, and enhance infrastructure performance and longevity.
